Aklia Institute

The Aklia institution is one of the fast growing institutions of higher education in Malwa Region of Punjab was established in 2003 under Aklia Educational & Research Society act, realizing the education requirement of the region. In the First Phase the Aklia College of education for women was started giving B.Ed. & E.T.T courses to impart teacher education. In the Second Phase the institution started degree courses in BCA, BBA, BA, PGDCA & M.Sc(IT). Now the institution entered in the Third phase by adapting the scheme for development of integrated campus with multi discipline imparting technical & management education in the year of 2009 under the banner of Aklia College of Engg. & Management Technology which is one of the few campuses in the Punjab. The institution is committed to provide technical education with strong practical background to accept the challenge of competitive world so that the students can settle in the technical field with confidence and can achieve a successful career in their respective fields. For the overall personality development of the students admitted in existing disciplines are encouraged to participate in extra co- curricular activities, sports and cultural activities.
The institution has magnificent complex with conference hall, library and laboratories, canteen, well spread lush green lawns and playgrounds.
The college building is newly constructed and the campus is designed and beautified with the help of experts. The college is committed for excellence in learning and teaching methodology in the field of technical and management education. The Institution shall give a due attention towards institute-industry interaction also.
The institution is located on Bathinda-Goniana national highway road, 15 km from Bathinda and 2 km from Goniana towards jaito with pollution free neat and clean campus. The campus is spread over 60 acres of land with state of the art laboratories and class room equipped with the facility of LCD projector to provide quality education with modern approach education in easy and effective manner. The Institution has also the Placement Cell to assist the students to get the job. The institution is touching new heights under the able and dynamic guidance of the Chairman S. Gurtej Singh Brar.
