The Aklia Group of Institutions was established in 2003 by “The Educational &Research Society” in the Malwa Region of Punjab. In the First Phase Aklia College of education for women was established offering B.Ed. & E.T.T programmes. In the Second Phase, in year 2005, the institution commenced programmes in BCom,BCA, BBA, BA, PGDCA. The institutions of the group, approved by the respectivestatutory body and the Govt of Punjab, are affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala.
In the year 2009, the trust established one more, independent, multi-disciplinary campus imparting Engineering & Management education at Degree and Diploma levels under the names of Aklia College of Engg. & Management Technology and Aklia Polytechnic College, in affiliation to MRSPTU and PSBTEIT respectively.
